The talent for dressage is actually in his cradle: Father Escolar is currently one of the most sought-after Westphalian dressage horse sires. The two-time Bundeschampion was appointed to international top-class sport and to the German Olympic team under Hubertus Schmidt. He has also achieved great things in breeding with more than 35 licensed sons, medal winners at the World Championships for young dressage horses and first S successful offspring.
The mother of this colt also has dressage blood: Fürst Fugger was also Bundeschampion and he was successful at advanced level dressage, as were many of his offspring.
